Yale has a wide range of 700 bar cylinders to use for most lifting applications. The range of universal cylinders is completed by special cylinders. Almost all Yale cylinders are available in single-acting design, with spring-return or double-acting designs. Our cylinders are equipped with standard fittings.
The universal cylinders combine robustness, versatility and power. The wide range of possible weights and models allows you to find the right combination for your application. The cylinders are available in single or double acting design for all common industrial applications. The universal cylinder YS has a capacity of 5 – 100 t and the model YH has a capacityof 5 – 200 t. The universal cylinder YS can be equipped with AYS lifting claws, piston plates, bottom adapters, extension tubes and support plates.
The low-height and flat cylinders bring the desired performance in closed and confined spaces where other solutions can not be used. The YLS and YFS cylinders are available in single-acting design and have a maximum capacity of 10 – 100 t.
The YPL pull cylinders with a maximum capacity of 10 – 51 t can generate extremely high pulling forces and can be controlled precisely by hand pumps or power packs.
The hollow cylinder YCS, single-acting with spring return, with a capacity of 12 – 93 t, has a centre hole design to guide a threaded rod through the hollow cylinder, so that extremely high pulling forces can be achieved.
The hollow cylinder YCH are double-acting with hydraulic return and have a capacity of 33 – 140 t.
The high-tonnage cylinders YEHB, double-acting with hydraulic return, have a maximum capacity of 140 – 1100 t. They are mainly used for lifting, positioning or handling heavy loads. The YEGB version is available in a single-acting version with gravity return.
The hydraulic cylinders YELB with safety nut, single acting and gravity return, have a max. capacity of 30 – 1100 t. They are recommended when loads have to remain in the lifted position over a period of time. If the cylinders are operated on non-parallel surfaces, AYL tilt saddles for cylinders should be used to minimize internal friction. The upper parts of the saddle can pivot in a ball socket up to 5 ° in all directions. Screw-in threaded flanges AYP can be used to install the cylinder in fixtures. If a pivotal movement of the cylinder is required, clevis eye mountings AYH can be screwed onto the piston and bottom of the cylinddr.
